Apply to the Master
Interested in the Microfluidics Master? Contact us before (or after) you apply to discuss your application and, if possible, arrange a visit.
Two ways in
The program is part of two Master’s degrees. Apply through the one that matches your background.
Materials Science and Engineering (PSL)
For chemistry and biology backgrounds.
Procedure: application file submitted online on the PSL portal.
Application sessions
- Session 1, fast track (M1 and M2): October 14 to November 26, 2026 (23:59 CET). For international students arriving in France for the first time and/or applying for an international study scholarship (Eiffel, etc.). Files that don’t meet these criteria are evaluated in session 2.
- Session 2 (M1 and M2): January to February 2027.
- Session 3 (M2): May to June 2027.
Unless you have specific administrative or financial constraints (visa, scholarship…), we recommend waiting for session 2, so that your file is as complete as possible (transcripts for the current year, etc.).
Physics of Complex Systems
For physics backgrounds.
- Application period: March to June 2027
- Procedure: through your university portal: Sorbonne Université, Université Paris Cité or Université Paris-Saclay
Selection process
- Get in touch (optional but welcome) to discuss your project and arrange a visit.
- Submit your file through the portal of your Master’s degree.
- Interview. Once your file is sent, you are invited to an interview with the program team.
Application file
Please send the following documents, ideally combined into a single PDF:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Official transcripts of academic results (from the third year of Bachelor’s degree onward)
- Motivation / cover letter
- Name and contact details of two referees (professors, internship supervisors, etc.) who may be contacted for recommendations
- Recommendation letters are not mandatory, but will be considered if relevant and balanced
